Stevo and I have this afternoon had a walk around a new trials venue for Ashwicke Classic to use. It is pretty much what we can normally only dream of, it is a large area of land for us to use, all sorts of terrain, banks, streams, mud and roots. There are no complications with footpaths etc. As far as I can tell it has never been used for trials before. It simply has it all, even excellent parking right on the side of the A46 just before the A420 roundabout heading North towards the M4. So very easy to find and get to.

We are going to set a date to use the land sometime between November and the end of Feb, so sadly we have to wait a while. The land is used for grazing sheep all the rest of the time hence the Nov-Feb window. Our next step is to work out a sensible date and agree it with the farmer. We will let you know as soon as we sort it. The farmer is a keen supporter of the Air Ambulance so this will be the chosen charity, if all goes well we should be able to use it in coming years - Lets hope so, we think it is a brilliant venue !
